The Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa offers 290 deluxe guestrooms, including 10 luxuriously appointed suites. All rooms and suites feature classic Biedermeier-style furniture, decorator fabrics, European duvet bed coverings, 27" color televisions, On Command video systems, ceiling fans, and custom-designed refreshment centers.

Large marble baths are outfitted with separate vanity area, plush terry robes, hair dryer and complimentary Gilchrist & Soames personal bath amenities.

Guestroom amenities include nightly turndown service, three phones, voicemail, fax/data port, personal writing desk, coffee maker with complimentary coffee, iron with full-size ironing board, wet bar, stocked mini-bar and refrigerator. In-room dining is available 24 hours.

Many guestrooms offer private, ocean-view balconies, and all rooms are non-smoking. All overnight guests have access to the newly remodeled rooftop fitness center and are invited to experience a relaxing treatment in our full-service, European Spa.

Presidential Suite
Located on the rooftop of the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa, the Penthouse Suites are all connected to the 16,000 square foot European style Spa. The 2,100 square foot Presidential Suite is the crown jewel of our Penthouse Suites and the ultimate luxury experience. It comes complete with a 750 square foot sun deck, custom-built whirlpool tub, deck furniture for four, outdoor stereo system and a 180-Degree view of Monterey Bay. The living room is perfect for entertaining, with a fireplace, dining room table that seats 12, full bar with pantry, half bath and state-of-the-art entertainment center. Grand Bay Suite
The 1,700 square foot Grand Bay Suite offers beautiful views of Monterey Bay from three balconies with sliding glass doors. Ideal for entertaining, the living room consists of a fireplace, a dining room table that seats 12, a full bar with pantry, half bath and state-of-the-art entertainment center. The private bedroom is complete with its own fireplace, wet bar, oversized bathroom with double sink vanity, whirlpool tub, and separate shower, and of course, beautiful views of Monterey Bay.


Cannery Row Suite
The 1,500 square foot Cannery Row Suite is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family weekend. The living room is complete with a fireplace, a full-size pull down Murphy bed, a full bathroom and wet bar. Both the living room and bedroom have balconies with views of historic Cannery Row, and the ocean. The bedroom offers its own fireplace, oversized bathroom with whirlpool tub, separate shower and double sink vanity.


Spa Terrace
The 700 square foot Spa Terrace is the perfect couples hideaway. This oversized guestroom comes complete with fireplace, wet bar, and two whirlpool tubs (one in the bathroom and the other on the outdoor deck). Note: This suite does not have an ocean view.


Executive Suites
One or Two Bedrooms
The one bedroom connecting living room Executive Suites are approximately 900 square feet. The two bedroom-connecting living room Executive Suites are approximately 1,300 square feet. The Suites have beautifully appointed furnishings, sliding glass doors with exterior balconies and either ocean views or harbor views. These suites are perfect for the corporate executive who wants to entertain a small group, or a large family needing some extra space.
